MENUS

In September 2018, I started working on the freelance site called Upwork. I successfully received a job as an UberEats menu translator. My main tasks are to translate the menu entries of restaurants in Japan. I mostly work on restaurants in the Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Nagoya areas (due to the largest concentration of English-speaking foreigners being there). At this point, I've translated over 200 menus. Below are just a few examples of my work.

These spreadsheets are used to input the data onto the websites and apps. In the 3 examples below, this was the old format used up until February 2019. The red links direct to the UberEats site. Using the tabs at the bottoms of the sheets, the main areas I translate are "items," "restaurant-level customizations," and "item-level customizations." All translated areas are highlighted in yellow.
